Unusual sea pottery button set in an open back sterling silver finding on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. Sea pottery is tumbled smooth by the sea and sand just as sea glass is. This clay button was found by my daughter on one of our recent beach combing walks. Through the years buttons have been made from shells, stone, bone, wood, metal, glass and clay…and of course plastic.

Sea pottery button is approximately 1/2 inch in diameter.

Each piece of sea pottery is unique and hand picked from the beach on my daily walks on the beaches of Cape May. You will receive the exact piece of jewelry in the photograph. Slight imperfections in the piece are to be expected and are proof that it is pure sea pottery. Stone, shell and coral props are not included.
