Unique embossed sea pottery necklace with a single freshwater pearl on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. Sea pottery is tumbled by the waves and sand just as sea glass is until its rough edges are smoothed. The slight curve and scalloped edge of this piece of sea pottery suggests that it might be from a large serving platter. Pottery is the traditional gift for a 9th wedding anniversary.

Sea pottery is approximately 1 5/8 inch in length. This piece was found on December 9, 2023 on Sunset Beach, Cape May, NJ.
