Speckled blue sea tile necklace with a sterling silver peace sign on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. Sea pottery is tumbled smooth by the sea and sand just as sea glass is. This square tile was most likely from a floor or wall. I have found a few of these tiles in different shades of blue over the years on beaches in Cape May Point, NJ. I wonder if they are from one of the beach front homes of South Cape May that “toppled into the sea” after the devastating Nor’easter of 1936.
