Pink Sea Glass Necklace with a Freshwater Pearl
Pink Sea Glass Necklace with a Freshwater Pearl
Pink sea glass necklace with a freshwater pearl on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. Pink sea glass is rare with a finding ratio of 1 in 1,000 according to the Pure Sea Glass Identification Deck, which also states that “in the 1930’s several Depression-glass tableware patterns were produced in light pink colors”. The color of this piece of sea glass reminds me of a square pink glass cake plate which my mother used to serve sqaure Pepperridge Farm cakes.
A shard of glass is transformed into a beautiful gem after being tossed and tumbled in the sea and sand. Sea glass represents strength and beauty. Wear the beauty of the sea!
Sea glass is approximately 7/8 inch in length.
Each piece of sea glass is unique and hand picked from the beach on my daily walks. This piece has not been machine tumbled or shaped. You will receive the exact piece of jewelry in the photograph. Slight imperfections in the glass are to be expected and are proof that it is pure sea glass. Stone, shell and coral props are not included. The shapes of pure sea glass are formed at random by the breaking of glass and the strength of the sea as each piece is tumbled in the waves and sand. This randomness makes each piece of my jewelry truly unique and one of a kind.
