Green seafoam sea glass necklace with a sterling silver peace sign on an 18 inch sterling silver chain. The peace sign was created in 1958 by Gerald Holtom for the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. It is a combination of the semaphore letters for “N” and “D” for Nuclear Disarmament. The symbol’s meaning grew to encompass anti-war sentiments and peace. The sign was made with no copyright so it could be used by anyone.

Sea glass is approximately 1 3/8 inch in length.

Each piece of sea glass is unique and hand picked from the beach on my daily beach walks. You will receive the exact piece of jewelry in the photograph. This piece of sea glass has not been machine tumbled. Slight imperfections in the piece are to be expected and are proof that it is pure sea pottery. Stone, shell and coral props are not included.
