Cape May Diamonds are bits of quartz that have broken off of rocks high up in the Delaware River. They are tumbled smooth by the water and sand (just as sea glass is) as the make their way down the Delaware River to land on Sunset Beach in Cape May. It is said that the Native Americans used these 'gems' for trade.
Sterling silver cage is approximately 5/8 inch in length including bail. Each Cape May Diamond is naturally tumbled by the sea and collected by me on my daily beach walks.
